Shatter Me is a young adult dystopian thriller written by Tahereh Mafi. She is the bestselling author of the Shatter Me. Shatter me is the first in its series. Unravel Me and Ignite Me were the other two famous books of the Tahereh Mafi.
This audio book is narrated by Kate Simses. She does a fantastic job and her performance is as good as one can expect. She blends in the background and lends great emotional power to the performance.
Juliette starts as a scared, traumatized 17 years old girl, having been abused and made to feel like a monster in her entire life. She struggles to trust other and has a trouble making friends. Adam can touch Juliette without being harmed and killed. He is in love with Juliette. Her relationship with Adam is turbulent at first. She cannot help but be drawn to him.
Shatter Me has to be one of the most favorite books by Tahereh Mafi; it was very interested with the characters and the world Mafi created. She does it in such a way that she does not confuse the reader. James and Kenji made for great side characters. I love the relationship between Juliette and Adam. The story itself moves so quickly. I think this is a kind of message for us I would suggest this book, the dystopian story unwinds and twists and turns, and re-twists in a way that leaves you fully captivated.
This is one of the better books by the author, considering the quality of the writing. It has well-developed characters and interesting plotlines. The plot is extremely fast-paced and intense. You wouldn’t want to put this down until you’re done with the complete story.
