World Unbound

John the only hero earth was left with fought really hard for the safety of the land against the enemies but then the aliens succeeded. None of the enemies was successful in killing John so they devised a plan to get rid of him i.e by throwing him into another world unknown to him.

After that the world was at the mercy of the aliens and the creatures from the game world, being stubborn in nature John finally returns to the mother earth but after a span of four years. These years were ample for the enemy to make it’s strangle hold firm. This is not the earth that he left because it has knelt in front of the enemy.

War is not an answer no John must enter in politics and start a new game for the freedom of the planet for which he fought so hard in Life in the North: An Apocalyptic LitRPG and Redeemer of the Dead: A LitRPG Apocalypse. The friends and allies are dispersed and the enemy has become stronger than he was expecting.

Tao Wong helps the returning hero with some good allies this time and this allows him to settle in the atmosphere once again. Four years in another world has made him a changed man finally he is thinking and planning without rashness now that was his weakness since the start of the series. Nick Podehl provides him the ruler like tone during the conversation with the allies and in political scenes. The author has borrowed some ingredients from the previous books which is good for the connection of the series. Only thing that is missing and is widely felt is the description of the world where John went to and the process that allowed him to return to the right planet.
